This was the first Import Survival Series of the year. There was a big representation of the old school in this event. The Santiago Racing Starlet suffered a terrible accident in the second round of elimination's, when it came off the line very strong lost control and ended up on the opposite lane guard rail. A Brown Starlet by the name of Dona Olga's Racing also had problem's at the line when the driver side wheel came off and the car ended up facing the stands.
There were many 8 second passes and slower,
but all effectively getting the track crowd ready for an electric race
